Lawn Care & Maintenance in Las Vegas

A good lawn in Las Vegas doesn't happen by accident. Bermuda grass — the workhorse of valley lawns — can look incredible, but it demands the right mow height, deep watering on your assigned watering days, and someone who notices when a sprinkler head dies before half the yard goes brown. One Rock Landscaping runs scheduled lawn care and maintenance routes across Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, and Boulder City, and we treat every lawn like it's the one in front of our own house.

Our regular service covers the full routine: mowing at the correct seasonal height, crisp edging along sidewalks and driveways, trimming around obstacles, blowing clippings off hard surfaces, and weed control. We also keep an eye on your irrigation — a five-minute check during a mow visit catches the broken head or clogged nozzle that would otherwise cost you a dead patch and a spike in the water bill. In the monsoon months, when weeds explode overnight, we stay ahead of them.

Seasonal work matters here more than most places. In fall, we scalp Bermuda down and overseed with rye for a green winter lawn. In spring, we transition back and feed the Bermuda as it wakes up. Fertilization, pre-emergent weed control, and aeration all have a right window in the desert, and we time them to it. If your lawn is thin, patchy, or half weeds, we'll tell you straight whether it can be rehabbed or whether a restart makes more sense — and then do the work.

Frequently asked questions

How often should my lawn be mowed in Las Vegas?

Weekly in the growing season (roughly March through October), biweekly in winter if you overseed with rye. We'll recommend a schedule based on your grass and yard.

Do you edge and blow, or just mow?

Every visit includes mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing clippings off driveways, sidewalks, and patios. A mow-only visit isn't a finished job.

My lawn has brown spots. Can you fix it?

Usually, yes. Most brown spots are irrigation problems, not dead grass. We'll diagnose it on the first visit and fix what's fixable.
